DIRECTORATE OF RESEARCH AND GRADUATE TRAINING (DRGT)

The course is designed to provide learners/participants with practical skills on PhD supervision. This course also introduces learners to the management of online teaching as trainers of trainees. This will be made possible through managing online group discussions, brainstorming, videos on role-playing, individual assignments case studies and other activities. The course explores the online learning environment; identifies the responsibilities and practical skills required by online and blended approaches for PhD supervisors; looks at techniques and content for managing and facilitating online PhD supervisory activities.
